Shane Sweetnam and James Kann Cruz — known to those closest to him as Gizmo — won the €500,000 Rolex Grand Prix at the Falsterbo Horse Show on 13 July 2026, Sweetnam entering the arena last, knowing the time to beat, and delivering a second clear round in 37.68 seconds to win by almost a full second. The Irish Sport Horse, bred in Co. Galway by Patrick Connolly and by Kannan out of Cruising, has long been one of the most decorated horses on the circuit.
